Who we are
YrPass ("we", "us") provides a service for creating and sharing Digital Product Passports. Contact: yanki@echox.us.
What data we collect
- Account data: your email address and an encrypted password, used to sign you in.
- Product data: the information and photos you add to your product passports. Product passports are public by design: anyone with the link or QR code can view them.
- Usage data: a counter of how often each public passport page is viewed, with the date and time. We do not record who viewed it, their IP address, or any advertising identifier. To avoid counting the same visit twice, your browser remembers for the duration of the tab session that a page was already counted.
- Error reports: if a page fails to load, the error message and the page address are written to our server log so the fault can be fixed.
How we use it
- To provide the service: storing your passports and showing them to people who scan your QR codes.
- To communicate with you about your account (confirmation and password-reset emails).
- We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Where your data lives
Data is stored with our processors: Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage) and Vercel (website hosting). Both process data under their own GDPR-compliant terms.
Your rights (GDPR)
- Access & portability: you can view all your data in the app; contact us for an export.
- Correction: you can edit your passports and account details at any time.
- Deletion: you can delete individual passports, or your entire account and all its data, from the Settings page, immediately and permanently.

Cookies
We use only the cookies strictly necessary to keep you signed in. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will note the new date above and, for significant changes, notify account holders by email.
